Calling all cyclists, swimmers and runners — you have just six weeks left to enter Tri Together Glasgow, part of our award-winning triathlon events!
Join over 150 people already registered at the event on 21 September at Bellahouston Sports Centre and Park in Glasgow in partnership with triathlonscotland.
We believe that everybody should be given the chance to take part in sports if they want to, whatever their abilities, and Tri Together encourages just that.
You can come as an individual, a relay team of two or three with friends, or get your whole family involved (including children aged 8 and over).
Jane Egan, winner of the World Paratriathlon Championships in 2013, took part in Tri Together last year and is also supporting the event this year.
She said, ‘I’m proud to be supporting Tri Together Glasgow and would encourage others sign up and discover just how rewarding a triathlon can be. It’s a great event that lets you have fun, challenge yourself and raise money for the vital work Leonard Cheshire Disability does.’
Race entry is £37 for adults and £12 for children. Fundraising targets for adults in both events is £150. Juniors are not asked to raise a specific amount of money, we just ask that they raise as much as they can.
Matt Smith is sports events manager at Leonard Cheshire Disability.
