This Sunday, Richard Lynall will be taking on the Cardiff Half Marathon in memory of his father, Jonathan. He aims to raise much needed funds for Danybryn care home, which supported and cared for his dad for over 20 years.
Richard and Jonathan had a very close relationship. They had a shared love of sport, especially rugby, and attended rugby matches when they could. So it seems fitting for Richard to take on this physical challenge in memory of his dad.
‘My dad lived at Danybryn for over 20 years and I had arranged to run the Cardiff Half Marathon for them this year before he passed away.
‘I will continue to support Danybryn as much as I can. I cannot thank them enough for all the love and support they gave my dad over the years — this was way beyond their call of duty.’
Everyone at Danybryn is so grateful to Richard for taking on this challenge to fundraise for them.
‘Jonathan was such a lovely gentlemen. We are so proud that Richard is running in memory of his dad. We thank him for all of his support at Danybryn and wish him every success.’
