Disabled father walks his daughter down the aisle using bionic suit

A father who is paralysed from the waist down has fulfilled his dream of walking his daughter down the aisle — thanks to a robotic suit.
Chris Palmer from Derby has been a wheelchair user since having cancer in June 2012.
But he was determined to walk his daughter, Heather, down the aisle on her wedding day.
He fulfilled his dream after being loaned a robotic suit called Rex.
'It's wonderful I can do this - it's fulfilling something that dads do.'
As reported in the Daily Mail, Heather discovered a company called Rex Bionics which produces the equipment.
The company invented an exo-skeletal suit which helps paralysed people to walk and stand without assistance.
Heather contacted Rex Bionics, who agreed to teach Chris how to use the suit — and then loaned it to him for his daughter's big day.
'There are a lot of people who are in my dad's position that don't know this is out there, and I want people to know if they have had an accident that is life-changing or have a disability, there are measures out there that would enable them to do things they might think they could never do.'
