The award-winning road cycling event Cycle Together Sandringham returns for its third year running on 14 June 2015!
We're calling on cyclists of all ages and abilities to sign up for this year’s event. Last year’s participants ranged in age from 4 to 76 years old, and with a variety of routes — from 10 miles to 100 miles — families and keen cyclists can all take part in the event.
Watch highlights from last year's event:
After the success of last year’s event and the increasing popularity of cycling, we're expecting this year's to be the biggest and best yet.
Cycle Together raises money for Park House Hotel in Sandringham which provides holidays for disabled people, their families and carers.
Keen cyclist Viscount Coke helped launch the first Cycle Together, and he's backing the event again this year.
‘I enormously enjoyed cycling in Leonard Cheshire’s event. It was a great atmosphere and a super way to enjoy the Norfolk countryside. The routes are perfect for anyone, so whatever your age or ability why not sign up today? It’s a great day out for all the family, and raises funds for a very worthwhile cause.’ — Viscount Coke
Cyclists pedal through some of Norfolk’s breath-taking countryside and coastal routes, including the beautiful grounds of Viscount Coke’s Holkham Hall, where they can also stop for refreshments.
Phil Davies, cycling enthusiast and Park House fundraiser said: ‘I’m really proud to be part of Cycle Together as it’s such a fantastic event whatever your cycling ability.’
A team of local volunteers makes sure the day runs smoothly — as well as cheering on the riders.
