8 out of 10 disabled people were not born with their disability, so here's why our fundraising target is £1,800.
Many have become disabled after an accident, or from a stroke, cancer or developing conditions like multiple sclerosis or motor neurone disease. These life-changing circumstances can stop people in their tracks. Your marathon fundraising will make sure they can live a full life again, and achieve their dreams.

- £200 could pay to train two teachers in the developing world the skills they need to teach disabled children and non-disabled children together.
- £800 can buy a touch screen monitor enabling people with limited movement in their hands to use computer equipment.
- £2,000 could buy a ‘tilt table’ to provide pain relief and help breathing, digestion, bone density and posture for a disabled person with little or no movement in their limbs.
